How it works

Our tutors

Our tutors work with children in a low ratio (the maximum ratio is 1:10), ensuring the right balance between individual support and independent learning. As children practise and acquire new skills throughout the learning session, the tutors are always on hand to encourage, explain or suggest a new approach. They also make notes in order to provide parents with relevant feedback after every session.

Getting Started

When the children arrive at their centre they are greeted by enthusiastic tutors who engage children and get them motivated even before they walk through the door.

They are now ready and keen to learn

The 2 hr session

Energy booster (10-15 min) : This fun-filled starter session prepares and activates the child’s brain tissues and is a unique workout regime that oxygenates the blood and other organs, leaving them full of energy and ready for the challenges of learning. We also call this session LOL, laugh out loud.

Maths made easy (90 min) : The core of each program offered by the Academy which focuses on Abacus or the speed mathematics techniques, depending on the course to which the child has enrolled.

Challenge yourself (15 min) : Hands on fun-filled activities from one of the following categories.

  • Critical thinking
  • Logical reasoning
  • Share a skill

The children look forward to these individual/group activities as it often is the most enjoyable session after the hard work.

A dynamic learning environment

At AAA, we believe that children learn best when they want to learn. The centres are lively, vibrant and full of positive energy. The tutors have a great rapport with all the children and are experts at motivating them to learn. Children are made to feel a part of the system which means they look forward to their learning sessions.

The reward

We provide a variety of short-term and long-term incentives to motivate children to give their best in every session. Children are also rewarded for their efforts when reaching set goals. When these goals are achieved, there are centre celebrations where children receive a certificate for their hard work and effort while receiving a huge round of applause from everyone.

Tracking progress and evaluations

At AAA we will monitor the progress of the child at regular intervals. The last week of a level is dedicated to examination and testing of the skills gained by the child.

We hold regular meetings with parents to discuss each child's progress and plan their learning pathway. Detailed reports help tutors and parents track the academic achievements of each child and set new learning goals.
